Zoning and Land Development Rewrite in Easley: A $78,607 Process That Raises More Questions Than Answers

This post will only address the council meeting but I will follow up with a second post with information on the Unified Development Ordinance and other issues.

I have debated over writing this and decided I needed to do this.

Wow, July is half over! Time is going by fast. Congrats to the 100th anniversary for the American Legion Post 52 Baseball! The game and fireworks on Monday 7/14 were awesome!

My apologies for not posting sooner but decided I would wait until we voted on the budget and do one post for both meetings.

I’m not reading social media like I used to do but was notified of some social media chatter on the budget, what I said at the budget work session, and some contradictions have been reported. (I did not search for these.)

The items up for vote at the regular council  meeting were:

Just want to give a heads up on the 25-26 budget. This is on the agenda for the Council Meeting on Monday May 12. Mark your calendar for the meeting. Work session is at 5 in the council chambers at city hall and the regular meeting is at 7 at the law enforcement center.
